Education importance in Islam
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ ) said:"Seeking knowledge is a duty on every Muslim (male and female)"
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said to us the importance of education and learning throughout his life. He said, "Seeking knowledge is obligatory (واجب) on every Muslim," and "The ink of the scholar is more sacred than the blood of the martyr." These teachings emphasize the significance of acquiring knowledge and its value in the sight of Allah.
"Allah say in Quranأَقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ"Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created"Quran 96:1"
In Islam, education is not limited to acquiring (Acknowledgment) religious knowledge only, apart from this all fields of study, including science, mathematics, and philosophy and others. Muslims are encouraged to seek knowledge and gain expertise in various fields to benefit themselves and others.
"The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:"For him who follows a path for seeking knowledge, Allah will ease for him the path to Eden (Paradise)."
Education holds great importance in Islam, as it is considered compulsory for the spiritual and intellectual development of individuals. Islam emphasizes the goal of knowledge as a religious duty, and the Quran say Muslims to seek knowledge from birth to death.
Furthermore, education is also considered a means of eradicating ignorance and promoting social justice. It enables individuals to understand their rights and responsibilities as Muslims and as members of society. Education in Islam is not only the acquisition of knowledge but also the application of that knowledge in daily life to promote positive change.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ say:-
Muslims are bound to cross all boundaries for knowledge if they have to as seeking knowledge and seeking knowledge is obligatory on every Muslim.
People who wants seek knowledge they are real winners, Allah will give their rewards in life and after death also.
"A father can give his children nothing better than good education"
GIRLS' EDUCATION IN ISLAM:-
According to the teachings of Islam, education is very important. The first word revealed of the Quran was "Iqra" READ! Seek knowledge! Educate yourselves! Be educated.
This command is not distinguish between male and female.
The first wife of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, Khadeeja, was a successful businesswoman in her own right.
Islam also teaches us to practice what we learn.
