Here are some interesting several ways that shows the importance of Holy Ramadan in Islam:
Fasting (ROZA): During Ramzan, Muslims fast from dawn until dusk, refraining from food, drink, and other physical needs. This act of self-discipline helps to increase their spiritual awareness and helps them to empathize with the less fortunate who may be without food or water.
Increased spirituality: Ramzan is considered a time for increased spirituality, and Muslims often engage in extra prayers and recitation of the Quran. This can help to strengthen their faith and increase their connection with ALLAH.
Community spirit: Ramzan is a time when Muslims come together as a community to break their fasts and keep their fast, pray together, and engage in charitable activities. This strengthens the bonds between individuals and promotes a sense of unity and brotherhood.
Forgiveness and mercy: Ramzan is also a time for forgiveness and mercy. Muslims are encouraged to seek forgiveness for their sins and to show mercy to each others. This helps to promote a sense of compassion and forgiveness, which can lead to greater harmony and understanding among people.

Some Muslim's observe I’tikaaf (residing in the mosque for worship and women residing in separate room or separate place for worship) in the Ramadan specially in the last 10 days of Ramadan's month. I'tikaaf means is staying.
How to perform I'tikaaf?
Distance yourself from worldly distractions that divert your heart away from everything except Allah,Drown yourself the entire time in worship, and glorifying Him night and day without tiring.
When we perform i'tikaf with sincerity, it is among the most virtuous of deeds, so much so, that even when you are asleep, you are considered to be in a state of worship.
"Hazrat Aisha Radi Allahu Anhu Narrated that:-
